En el momento de estar haciendo el trámite para el Express Entry, una de las preguntas que se deben contestar es sobre el historial laboral. Lo importante aquí es el respaldo de cada posición indicada. Uno de los documentos aceptables es la carta de referencia laboral.
La carta de referencia laboral es una carta escrita en papel membretado, dirigida hacia el CIC que confirma la posición laboral trabajada, el salario percibido y que describe las actividades realizadas. En realidad no existe ningún formato específico. Pondremos aquí unos ejemplos.
Consejos antes de Escribir la Carta Laboral
Aunque no es obligatorio, aquí el objetivo aquí es hacer fácil la toma de decición al agente migratorio. Por esta razón es muy aconsejable encontrar el NOC equivalente de la posición que esté reclamando. La descripción en la lista NOC le ayudará a redactar la carta.
Una vez con la posición encontrada, el siguiente paso es redactar uno mismo la carta. Los ex-empleadores no tienen ninguna obligación ante un ex-empleado y es por ésto que la carta debe ser redactada y estar lista para imprimir y firmar.
Textos de Ejemplo para la Carta Laboral
Presentamos algunos textos que han funcionado. No olvidar que las cartas deben estar en papel membretado de la empresa y firmadas por una autoridad. No necesariamente debe ser el director general (aka CEO); directores adjuntos o gerentes pueden firmarla.

During his duty, EX-EMPLOYEE NAME was responsible of LIST OF OUTSTANDING DUTIES.
EX-EMPLOYEE NAME is a skilled worker in AREA as well. He will be an asset of great benefit for Canada.

¿Qué Hacer si no Obtengo una Carta Laboral?
Sea cual sea la razon: la empresa ya no existe o una mala relación impide obtenerla; el proceso de residencia permanente permite ofrece la oportunidad de explicar por qué algunos documentos faltan por medio de una carta de explicación.
Adicional a la carta de explicación, otros documentos como los recivos de pago son válidos. El objetivo es presentar toda la documentación posible que demuestre que la actividad laboral reclamada fue realizada.
