At the moment of making the process for the Express Entry, one of the questions that must be answered is about the work history. The important thing here is the support of each indicated position. One of the acceptable documents is the labour reference letter.

The labour reference letter is a letter written on letterhead, addressed to the CIC confirming the work position worked, the salary received and describing the activities carried out. Actually, there is no specific format. We will put some examples here.

Tips before writing the Working Letter

Although it is not mandatory, here the objective here is to make it easy for the immigration agent to make a decision. For this reason, it is highly advisable to find the NOC equivalent of the position you are claiming. The description in the NOC list will help you write the letter.

Once with the position found, the next step is to write the letter yourself. Former employers have no obligation to a former employee and that is why the letter must be written and ready to print and sign.

Sample Texts for the Working Letter

Whatever the reason: the company no longer exists or a bad relationship prevents obtaining it; The process of permanent residence allows offers the opportunity to explain why some documents are missing by means of a letter of explanation.

In addition to the letter of explanation, other documents such as stubs are valid. The objective is to present all possible documentation that demonstrates that the claimed work activity was carried out.
